WHAT WOULD A DUDE DO?

Recently I came at cross roads on a professional decision. I was chatting with a good friend of mine, more like venting and debating my options concerns, insecurities and all that could be a barrier to success.

She listened to me patiently and then said, What would a dude do?

Interestingly, I immediately switched modes and spurted out logical steps to assessment and decision making for the opportunity. It was clear, concise and action driven.

It made me pause – What a contrast between the masculine and feminine energy that I carry …. AND what made me mark each of those perspectives with those labels?

I had been stewing during walk with my kiddo. And he made a good observation … there is so much media focus on women empowerment, the rise of feminine energy.

Isn’t equality about ability to tap into both masculine and feminine energy that we all have within?

For one is not better than the other and both together make wisdom and true empowerment.

Ladies, love your inner dude as much as your badass feminine selves.

And I gotta give some love to my lil’ wise one 🙂
